Fired For Being Too Sexy

Featured Replies

Not hot, don't know what you're seeing in her... Seen, hired and worked with much hotter women in my years,

Yep, ditto that.

Even in the professional photo shoot which has been hairbrushed, her face looks like a bag of Chisels. Not my cup of cha whatsoever.

You have to take into consideration what else the guys have to look at. We're talking NY here, not California or Florida.

I was interviewing a woman

I'm sure you were marky, I'm sure you were :)

You forgot to add that he fired her later. That's grounds for lawsuit - even outside the USA. Hire a young, attractive woman, have sex with her, then fire her later for faults that would have been obvious before you even hired her. Wow.

I may be remembering incorrectly, but Harcourt weren't you one of those chiding me for downloading movies for free off the Internet and cheating millionaire artists out of their royalties? I guess there's a limit even to your ethics. If I remember incorrectly, that still doesn't change the fact that you should have been fired, sued and maybe served some jail time.

:D .

There's no correlation at all. You're a thief, and I had sex with a willing partner.....:D

....had sex every night for two weeks untill the day I fired her....she didn't work late that day. :D

She did call me a few times after though, hoping for a date.

You need to know me in person before you can take a perspective on my actions.....and the perspective you have taken is way off the mark.

If there are any left, maybe some of the women reading this can give us their opinions. All I can ay is that back home you'd be in big trouble for pulling exactly what you yourself have described yourself as doing.

Maybe "back home". Maybe here in NZ too.....if circumstances were that she was "used". You have to take into consideration that it was 17-18 years ago and the PC brigade had not insinuated itself into everyday life. You also have to realise that I was a very attractive young man and maybe it was me that was used! But I did not complain....why? Because it was 2 consenting adults and there was no hint of me using any hint of authority-in-the-job over her. That is why I have no qualms whatsoever over what happened.

:)

Besides...NZ is not such a litigious place as your "back home". We do not bring disingenuous lawsuits. We're a fairly honest bunch of people. :D

I was interviewing a woman named Blanche for an assistant managers job at a restaurant. She was dressed rather provocatively. I looked at her application which showed no food service experience. She was only 21. As a matter of fact she had little experience of any kind. I asked her what she had done that qualified her for the job. Did I mention Blanche had a knockout body and by her apparel obviously natural. She batted her big eyes and said, “I am a part time nud_e model.” I asked when she modeled. She said, ”anytime you want.”

Blanche was unusual. I have never had much luck with employees named Blanche. April on the other hand is a dynamite name. I would automatically hire any woman whose first name was April with an exposed tattoo. Thailand has been difficult for me because I have not discovered the Thai equivalent of, “April.”

Working in Chicago for years I normally had good luck with ex playboy bunnies. They had a great training program and the girls were happy to get out of the uniform of fishnet hose and high heels. The fishnets wore lines in their feet and were extremely uncomfortable to work in. Also the bunny outfits left marks on their bodies for hours after being removed. It must have been very uncomfortable. I used a couple of ex playmates to open bars. They worked well but were expensive. Normally I would integrate them into the cocktail waitress staff only they got $50.00 an hour plus tips. But the girls brought the big spenders and big tippers and after a couple of weeks the better looking cocktail waitresses followed so the playmates were normally a good investment.

I’d tell you the difference between a cocktail waitress in Chicago and a bar girl in Pattaya but I don’t think I am supposed to do that here.

When can education ever be wrong ?

When it deals with any comparison between Thai women and western women on Thaivisa.

You are clueless if you think that sexual harrassment claims are a product of the PC brigade. I guess in your mind if you go back 20+ years then women loved to fondled on the job and enjoyed having sex with the boss because they were such studs as yourself. I wouldn't be surprised now to hear you believe rape is also a figment of the PC brigade's imagination. You need to seek help.

You nailed me, how'd you know? Have we met? I was just thinking that as I was reading this again wondering to myself poor New York is that the best they have to offer and make such a big issue over??.. Sad for them no wonder so many Florida transplants and tourists are from there...

Fired Citi Banker Debrahlee Lorenzana Had Two Boob Jobs, Filmed A TV Show About It

I knew it! She's nothing more then an attention whore...Even had a TV show about her boob job?? Figures, she looks plastic top to bottom and I'd hate to see the original version knowing how the modified version turned out..

Don't be so silly. It is silly to judge me by yourself and your own experiences.

Of course women didn't/don't enjoy it if the boss is a lecherous, advantage taking, pig.

Of course women enjoyed being fondled on the job and having sex with the boss ....if that boss happened to be "such a stud as myself".

I'm a stud (in your words), and you're a theif (by your admission). Don't let your envy cloud your outlook, there's no need to speculate and draw silly conclusions about my thoughts on rape.

A couple of comments...

1. Following is one of the more singularly narcississitic sentences I have read on TV. Count on Harcourt to come up with it.

"You also have to realise that I was a very attractive young man and maybe it was me that was used!"

2. This sentence of his is just plain silly. I would add to it...."we are honest until we serve on juries."

I really wonder if he thinks he is impressing anybody with this type of nonsense.

I'd rather be considered a thief by denying pennies of royalites to gazillionaires than to commit crimes against young women. By your own admission she was stupid - so she probably thought you actually liked her when you were just using her and when you fired her she was heart broken and hurt. Years later you're still bragging about it on a forum and she's probably on another forum now talking about this a**hole boss she had and how she wish she knew enough at the time to get that sex offender locked up before he did it to other women. Putting aside our differences on politics, you are a scumbag.

Oh dear, you know so little about me. Nevermind.

I never said she was stupid....I said she was illiterate and inumerate. So you consider dyslexics stupid? You are misinformed if you think dyslexia implies lack of intelligence.

That you are a thief is beyond doubt. That I am a scumbag is a lie.....but I have little motivation to correct you on that except to simply contradict you.

I don't think it is narcissism if it is true and said in a light-hearted manner. Perhaps your youth is so long ago that you forget, in your senility, what it was like when you were in your mid 20's, and perhaps you were ugly then too and simply have always resented the handsome men. It appears that I arouse envy in a couple of members here....that's your problem.

A dishonest jury panel in NZ? That's a grave accusation. I hope you have all the evidence to back that one up.

When I saw the topic title and neverdie as the person who started the thread, I thought he had been up to no good, only to find out it was about somebody else. :)

As much as you talk about yourself here I think we all know you.

So she isn't stupid. She's illiterate, innumerate [sic] and incompetent - but not stupid. And now you add dyslexia to the list.

Did you think that by admitting to sexually taking advantage of a young woman with a learning disability that it would somehow make it more acceptable? Which century are you from?

1. A definition of a Narcissistic personality disorder follows. Certainly sounds like Mr. Harcourt to me.

Narcissistic personality disorder is a mental disorder in which people have an inflated sense of their own importance and a deep need for admiration. Those with narcissistic personality disorder believe that they're superior to others and have little regard for other people's feelings. But behind this mask of ultra-confidence lies a fragile self-esteem, vulnerable to the slightest criticism.

Narcissistic personality disorder is one of several types of personality disorders. Personality disorders are conditions in which people have traits that cause them to feel and behave in socially distressing ways, limiting their ability to function in relationships and in other areas of their life, such as work or school.

Three activists who freely admitted breaking into a government spybase near Blenheim and slashing an inflatable plastic dome covering a satellite dish have walked free.

Their defence – that they mounted the attack to prevent others' suffering – has been successfully used by Iraq-war protesters overseas, but is thought to be a New Zealand first.

2. You still have not answered my question about what part of the sentence you do not understand. I do recall the perpetrators admitted they performed the breaking and entering, thus breaking the law. Is that true or not? If it is true, the jury that acquited them was a dishonest jury.

Fekken hel_l dudes, you better not go getting my thread closed because you are so hel_l bent on trying to outdo each other. A bit is okay, I actually endorse that but taking over the thread entirely :) .

hint hint, fekk off, okay. hugs n kisses - ur friend neverdie:annoyed:

Things that happened in an office environment 20 odd years ago probably happen nowadays.

I had an affair when i was a 19 year old with a guy in my first job. I am not seeking therapy for this, we had fun and moved on. He moved to Hong Kong and I moved to Geneva. It was kind of fun to pretend just to be colleagues until 5.30. But looking back, I'm sure everyone knew!!

I don't think Harcourt fired the girl because he got tired of her. He fired her because she couldn't do her job. And I am sure she has long forgotten the Adonis boss who seduced her at the coffee machine. If not, then she really does have problems.

There are still office romances going on, my flat looks out on an office and the employees have their ciggie breaks out there. There is one couple that can't keep their hands off each other.

The lecherous, smelly boss making inappropriate remarks etc. is the one to be admonished. And Ms. Whatever in the OP will, I'm sure, make lots of pennies with her TV appearances and tell all stories.

It is not illegal to have consensual sex with your boss. It is illegal (unethical and yes immoral) for job security to be based on having sex with your boss. Using a position of power to manipulate an underling into sexual relations is unethical. Hiring an incompetent simply because you want to screw her and then firing her for her incompetence may not be illegal but is rather slimy.

If I had a boss that was hot, would I sleep with him? No, it is not a relationship of equals and having that kind of relationship will always lead to trouble down the line. I never slept with a co-worker, but then I think again, its a pretty stupid idea if you want to stay in that job. If you don't plan on staying and you like him, then so what.
