One Year Old Nokia 5800

My son wants to buy a Blackberry but funds are short. So he wants to sell his 11 months old NOKIA 5800 for which he paid 11,400.-Baht at the time.

Today he went to MBK and was offered only 3.5K, so no deal yet.

He hopes to get at least 5-6K for his phone.

What would be a realistic selling price for his phone?

I think you have to sell it privately for around 5-6k at least that is what i expect. They want 3.5k for it because they need a profit too.

The new price of a 5800 is around 9700, with Navigation around 9900. I checked yesterday at MLink.

Realistically 5-6000 is a good bench mark.

My son bought a Blackberry 8520 at MBK for 8,700.-Baht and traded in his Nokia 5800 for 4,700.-Baht.

Registered the BB with DTAC under his current number for 350.-/month.

Did he get a reasonable deal or not?
