I thought vehicles would conk out if submerged in water. They must have some special exhaust system and some way to keep the plugs dry.

In Austraia endure we call them Suzuki Sierra's & they are a great little toy. I wouldnt want to go touring in one but they are so good because they are so light, the hop accross the muddiest of fields where other bigger 4x4 bog down and struggle.

I always put it down to 1. their guard is down, and 2. maybe they are impressed at this guy who is so comfortable and confidant in his masculinity that he can socialise in a gay bar.

When I was 16 I used to hang around with a guy called Bill who was a bit of a ruffian. He eventually got sent to gaol for some druggy stuff. The next time I saw him was 6 years later in what had just been voted the best gay club in Europe. He used to come quite often, either with a couple of straight mates or the girlfriend of the moment. When I asked him why he told me that he could visit with his mates and not have to put up with the 'wot you looking at' thugs spoiling for a fight or he could visit with the girlfriend and not have to spend the night fighting off other blokes who were trying to pick her up (I did warn him about the lesbians though ). He said that if anyone tried to chat him or his mates up they just mentioned that they were straight and that was that. He went because the place was good fun (gay clubs usually are) and because he was spared the grief of a Saturday night with the breeders
