Can decide which t-shirt to wear today......errrrr why not wear them all <deleted>? :ermm:

Yes Sir, ur spot on, I am definately a cruiser man but not one of those cruisers with all the fancy bullshit on them, give me a Landcruiser 79 series with one of them V8 Turbo diesels in it.....ohhh & get out of my way <deleted>. ;)

In Saudi, working on the East-West pipeline (goes from Abqaiq to Yanbu) and I was visiting pump-station 11. Got a call that I was needed back in Dhahran. One guy was going back to PS 10, where the Aramco Airline runway was. Less than an hour to go to the flight - 100+ kms. Along the desert haul road. Wouldn't let the guy drive his own car - needed to do it quick. Nissan Patrol - old style - very boxy.

Noticed while we were driving that the windscreen glass is not securely fitted, 'cos sometimes there was at least half an inch of air between the edge of glass and the frame.

Made it with time to spare. The guy refused to speak to me anymore.

notice the ladies of bedlam haven't been around for a while !

wouldn't have anything to do with the taboo subject of the female species and their relationships with cars, would it ? whistling.gif

No, its just that when the wimin open their fred, they can't move past them Calvin Klein blokes with socks in their undies. Little do they know that behind our avatars the real men are here.

Nothing wrong with the old Nissan Patrol. It was easy to service (had to be) and could be repaired in any Bedou camp in the Saudi deserts.

In Iran I had a Citroen Dyane. Again, could drive into any village, way out in the sticks, and stop at any garage. The fat owner would come out, look at the car, shout and half-a-dozen twelve-year-olds, smothered in old oil, would come out, strip it, reassembele it and I'd be on me way. Simple is best. (I should know  )

I didn't want to look stupid in the wimin's thread so I thought I'd ask you here. ND, what is a "tongie"?

Some sort of antopedian fast forward and then back movement.

They seem to like that.

Antopedian? Is that the girlie spelling for antipodean? From what I've read, in ND's case, you'd be bang on. :)

Regards.

Edit: 'And a "tongie" is how Antopedians contract STD from sheep. B)

 So you would rather look silly around the lads, fair enuf.

A tongie is apparently the act of putting ones tongue into another persons crevice mouth.

Yeah, but the previous post was about sick cats, vets, stilettos and flip flops, so I thought it must mean something else in strine or it was an "in" joke between you and Patsycat. It seemed a bit of a big jump until she mentioned washing her hair. As to looking stupid, I'd rather look stupid with the lads, who, it may be said, have a habit of lookin stupid and saying stupid stuff in front of the ladies. Its in our DNA, probably in the third helix somewhere and goes under the name of the daft <deleted> gene. :D
