New Tv It Site

Featured Replies

I checked out the new TV it sales site. The prices are much higher than if you buy from Pantip or IT city. Coming from US, I thought the online should provide more reasonable prices, but this is Thailand

I agree! I looked at ink prices, way more than I pay at Office Max in Central Phuket! And I didn't see a search, what do you have to go through every page to find your ink cartridge?

And I didn't see a search, what do you have to go through every page to find your ink cartridge?

The search box seems obvious to me. Also, when you go to Ink Cartridges you can select brand and color refining the choices. I've never had a problem finding my way around. Also, some of us are willing to pay a little extra for good service and the convenience of not physically having to run around to a half dozen shops trying to find what you want and wasting time. And then there are those out in the sticks... ;)

Hi guys

Thank you for the feedback. We do our best to keep prices at a low, but we cannot compete with every single computer shop in Thailand on every single product, that is simply not possible (at least for now :)). The example of OfficeMax with ink is a good example, they buy very very big bulk orders of ink because they sell tons of it so needless to say they get considerable discounts. Same with the chain stores you will find in Pantip, they buy in bulk and some of them are even the distributors of the products themselves.

As Tywais so nicely put it, our target customers are not the ones that love going around in Pantip scouting for cheapest prices, the biggest advantage of shopping with us is that we offer 24/7 support in English, you can call our office and speak to English speaking, knowledgeable technicians.

We aim to be among the cheapest online shops in Thailand with a big variety of products to chose from, it takes time to get there, but we are well on the way.

Yeah I found the search, I had scrolled down and it went out of view. All I saw then was the sign in. But when trying it I got:

"Found 0 matches to "Canon BJ Ink Black Color Cartridge for ip1600/ip1700/ip1200/MP150/Mp160/MP450/ip1880" Office Max has cartridges for both of my printers, and I have to go up that way every 90 days to check in at immigration, so no big deal. But yes, if you live out in the sticks, it may come in handy...

Yes, I understand the point that Office Max buys in bulk and can sell at a lower price...

Best wishes, Jimi

I think the stuff you sell is ok and prices are what they are... it is a result of the demand so that is ok.

But You have serious problems with your server/web application and you should have a serious talk to you webmaster and the web hotel. Not only is the website very slow at certain times but there are also more serious problems... please see the attached file...

I recently built a new computer. About half of the parts came from Invade -

The other half from various shops in Pattaya and Rayong.

If i had it to do all over again, I would buy it ALL from Invade because

of the number of choices and the convenience.

You should note that Invade would still be my choice even though my order

from them got caught up in the Songran holiday and delivery was slow. That,

was not their fault.

What I'm worried about is, beside the fact that they cannot keep their website in shape, is that they don't have any way to discuss complaints except for a webform. This is what they write:

If you wish to make a complaint about a defect/faulty product, that has been bought from invadeIT, you should contact our support department via our contact page. In the mail the following should be included: Order number and a description of the problem. We will read your description and reply, typically within the same day, with instructions on how your complaint will be treated.

It is not possible to file a complaint over the phone with us.

And earlier in this forum they say:

... the biggest advantage of shopping with us is that we offer 24/7 support in English, you can call our office and speak to English speaking, knowledgeable technicians.

These two statements are in my opinion not really compatible... I can talk to the technicians but not if I have a problem! :whistling:

I think there are some management problems here... One hand doesn't know what the other one is doing...

One example... I just had a faulty RAM that I bought at Central Bangna and I had to replace it. I doubt I could have done this quickly if I first had to fill in a webform and then wait for them to react. And then they have questions that we need to send back and forth... These things can take days...

In my case, I just went to Bangna with the whole computer, explained the situation to them and got the RAM replaced and the system was up and running immediately after I came home.

Of course all online sales takes more time than if I can just go there and talk to the guys. If the place was in BKK close to where I live, I could do that if they allowed it.

If I have the chance to call the people in Huahin, do the negotiations and explanations, file that complaint and have them send me a replacement part immediately so I had it the next day, then maybe I could start to think of buying stuff from them.

As it is now... no way. I wait until they have a better support...

Other stuff from the website that I worry about:

What are invadeIT's policies on returning and changing products?

invadeIT will not accept any return or change of products in all cases.

If product is damaged because of the process of manufacturing, you can change that product by informing us within 5 days from the delivery date (This policy is dependant on each manufacturer or each product distributor). Please go to the Contact page and contact our support department.

What kind of warranties do I have when I shop at invadeIT?

All products that have been ordered from us will get fully warranty by the products manufacturer. If the product is defect or not functioning, you can directly return it the manufacturer or the manufacturer's service center. You may also return it to invadeIT. Warranty covers only the product itself, not including any transportation expenses which must be covered by the buyer.

Think about it... I see endless discussion...
