Possible For Thaivisa?

Featured Replies

Gathering several hundred willing participants under the shadow of Edinburgh Castle, she led them in a soft-shoe shuffle known as At The Ball, by the Avalon Boys, originally performed by Laurel and Hardy, in an effort to create a "flash mob dance", where a group suddenly and spontaneously start dancing in a public place.

The instructions, disseminated online, were simple: watch the Laurel and Hardy clip, turn up at 11am and give it a whirl. The reason, declared Swinton, was "in pure unabashed celebration of doing something as a group and looking like dafties".

Never work here....what self respecting TV member gets up before 11am except perhaps to go home.

It was just the shock at finding Madam Lash is really a Romantic.

But, in that clip, did you see the people just standing around? Taking photos?

If they did that in my local supermarket i would be up there dancing with the rest of them. How can people not realise that boppy music is good for their health?

Gary Glitter tried that, and look where that got him.....................

They do it in Phnom Penh but you have to get up at Sunrise.

It's worth it though.

Don't be silly. This is about dancing in groups not about giving English lessons to young children.

I think I would like to see Neverdie in the flashy gold harem pants :D

I'd heard strange things could happen to you in Philippine prisons, but the orange trousers must constitute cruel and unreasonable punishment.

( edited to say Patsy's statement is probably correct, but does not bare thinking about )

Here's another one.

For whatever reason they are in prison - at least they get dancing lessons, tourists go and see them

e

I can just see my mother's face - Well dear, what did you do on your Phillipines holiday? Oh, I went to the prison to see them dance!!!

Funny what you find on Yoo Toob if you really look!! They also do a mean Thriller. With a ladyboy as the female part.

I imagine there will be many " Thrillers" in the prison with Ladyboys, It's the use of orange that gets me....................blink.gif

Thanks for those, Patsycat. I couldn't imagine that ever happening in a North American prison. We are too politically correct to make it happen.

One of the best things about Philippine TV is the news.

One night the cameras showed a trip to the lock up where a number of "billy boys" had been incarcerated for robbing tourists near a major Manila hotel.

They were all in a large community cell and when they saw the TV news crew they began doing the latest song and dance craze, singing and dancing and clapping in a line.

Then the camera zoomed to the back of the cell and revealed a group of local gangsters, heavily tattooed and moustached in true villain style, almost disabled with embarrassment and obviously hoping that no one they knew was watching TV that night.

Then there was the night they went to a house where a man had committed suicide and found out his wife was still at work, unaware of the tragedy. They paid a neighbour to ring her and tell her to come straight home but not to say what for. When she arrived they were waiting in the house to film her when she noticed hubby dead on the floor. :o
