What Makes You Cry?

Featured Replies

Sorry about your cat Patsy. :(

Funny i noticed this thread..because for the first time in a while..i feel crying about something now. I seem to have crushed someones heart..and i had no idea and didnt intend to...and i feel very sad about that, because i know how painful that can be. Its hard to be on the receiving end of getting hurt, but hard when you realise you caused someone pain too. I wish things in life were more simple.

I'll get over it, but I'm afraid that I will be hitting the bars hard for the next few months. :(

:P

Thanks for the smile UG. I need it today! :)

I find that difficult to believe, eek. Knowing your nature it's hard to believe you would hurt anyone intentionally. And, if it was unintentional as I believe, then the injured party has self image problems.

I do understand what you mean though. Hurting someone else is far worse than hurting yourself.

I have an expression for myself when I do something stupid... I just say "Dumb, Fcuker Forbes!"

I only say it when I do something that I know is taking a risk and the most probably result happens, and I only have myself to blame. .

Thank you Ian. Im not sure if I would agree that hurting someone else is far worse than being hurt myself.. I hate both of course. But being on the receiving end of rejection I think is a lot tougher...and longer lasting. That may sound a bit selfish, but its true (for me).

Anyway..getting away from that..but still on topic..im crying a bit at the moment..from WASABI! I adore wasabi. I love it when it stings my sinuses. The stronger the better. Tbh its the only reason i eat sushi. For the wasabi effect.

Its about time you acknowledged what you did to me. :annoyed:

I told you right from the start that I wasnt up for a one nighter!

Thats funny, I use a similar expression when posting on thaivisa, sometimes.

There's a few people getting around this forum with some nasty whip marks on them.

Hope thats in jest. Because, frankly, if its not, it is extremely rude, inappropriate and unfair. If you had to read the crap I have to read you would probably be far less forgiving than I am. Cheers for making my day there scead. Nice to know you have such a high opinion of me. :ermm:

Knowing sceadugenga, I would guess that he is just joking. If he isn't, I have a feeling he better pretend that he is. :D

By the way, IMHO the forum is, by far, the best it has ever been. You are watching out for member's rights, but not being overly strict. The mods are participating, but not pushing their own agendas at the expense of other posters and the moderating has been very fair. Kudos!

Get those credits in !!!!!

You must be planning to be very, very bad fairly soon...................................

Sssssuuuuuucccckkkkkhole  (btw: that is a joke :ermm: ) I don't want to upset anyone who could whip beat me up. ;)

sbk, you are looking wonderfully wonderful, as usual :whistling: (exit, stage right)

Yes well, cheers but as I said to lanna, 7 years of sneers, jibes, patronizing behavior, insults and out and out nastiness has taken its toll on my sense of humor when it comes to pokes at my moderation.

So, there you go, human after all. Sorry to disappoint all those who thought me some kind of unfeeling feminazi bitch.

Actually, I have been meaning to relay these comments to sbk for some time, but this gave me the perfect opportunity. If one thinks things are getting better, and wants it to continue, it is better to give credit where it is due,

I think he was just being playful as your title and avatar is a dominatrix-inspired one with a whip. And not that you are unfair etc. I would say that you are efficient and good at handling the whip as it is needed in this forum.

Yeh right Pinocchioguitar.gif

So you would like to object to my praise and make it a matter of record that you think TV sucks and that sbk is not fair? :whistling:

Knew you'd fight dirty......................

Was just joking sbk, I really have to agree with UG, the forum is running very smoothly of late. :wai:

Most of us have some of those whip marks, scead. Some we've even deserved... and some we haven't.

But, one thing I've noticed in Bedlam is we are allowed a little more freedom to tease each other. I like that. Maybe it's because it is a somewhat private forum where we've actually had a slight chance to get to know each other... even if it's just an internet forum. In the general topics forum you never know who you are conversing with.

I'm not really a fan of horse raddish or mustard, so wasabi doesn't do it for me. Everyone has their own choices in taste. I would LIKE to like pickles, but don't really care for vinigar either.

For those that don't know what wasabi is... here is Wickapedia's description.

Wasabi is generally sold either in the form of a root which must be very finely grated before use, or as a ready-to-use paste (either real wasabi or a mixture of horseradish, mustard, and food coloring), usually in tubes approximately the size and shape of travel toothpaste tubes.[2] The paste form is usually just horseradish, since fresh wasabi is extremely perishable and more expensive than horseradish. Once the paste is prepared it should remain covered until served to protect the flavor from evaporation. For this reason, sushi chefs usually put the wasabi between the fish and the rice.

Fresh leaves of wasabi can also be eaten and have some of the hot flavor of wasabi roots.

The burning sensations it can induce are short-lived compared to the effects of chili peppers, especially when water is used to remove the spicy flavor. The sensation is felt primarily in the nasal passage and can be quite painful, though it generally only lasts a few seconds.

Inhaling or sniffing wasabi vapor has an effect like smelling salts, and this property has been exploited by researchers attempting to create a smoke alarm for the deaf. One deaf subject participating in a test of the prototype awoke within 10 seconds of wasabi vapor being sprayed into his sleeping chamber.[3]

Wasabi is often served with sushi or sashimi, usually accompanied with soy sauce. The two are sometimes mixed to form a single dipping sauce known as Wasabi-joyu. Legumes (peanuts, soybeans, or peas) may be roasted or fried, then coated with a wasabi-like mixture and eaten as a snack.

Anyway..getting away from that..but still on topic..im crying a bit at the moment..from WASABI! I adore wasabi. I love it when it stings my sinuses. The stronger the better. Tbh its the only reason i eat sushi. For the wasabi effect.

Yeah, I'm a wasabi-masochist too.

But no way can he go outside.

Wonderful news Patsy. I got a call like that about my dog once and it was fantastic. Even if it did come with a $1,700 bill. I paid the bill and then the vet wanted to know if I wanted to date her. Well, maybe if she'd given me a discount...

Jimmy didn't like getting his tummy shaved and I've got scratches all over my arms. Next time take Jimmy to a different vet.
