Heroin Murder Mother Speaks

Featured Replies

IT is an image that has tormented mother Frances Inglis throughout her six months in prison.

Her beloved son Tom's body contorted in agony, his teeth biting his tongue hard enough to draw blood and in his eyes a look of complete terror.

A female paramedic in the ambulance later told police that three times Tom had got up and opened the door to the moving vehicle - the third time falling out. He suffered a head injury so catastrophic it damaged his brain stem irrevocably.

My family were offered euthanasia on my younger brother who contracted meningitis at the age of 1, and who's brain was fried overnight from it. He woke up the next morning as a spastic. He lived for 4 further years before passing away naturally. The euthanasia was offered by the foremost brain surgery hospital in London. (off the record).

Condolences......While I believe euthanasia should be a choice I cannot imagine a tougher choice for anyone or their family.

This thread seems to be something we can all agree on. It would be a terrible decision to have to make and then carry out.

If Scotland can let off the Lockerbie bomber, then perhaps she will get some mercy.

Hope she gets released soon.
