A nonsensical post and the reply to it have been deleted.

You'd be better deleting the whole thread or at least closing it, i would have thought..

There is absolutely nothing to say about this..

Not really. Any Jews in the area that are interested in more info could PM the OP to get the email address he posted before it was deleted. Maybe there is going to be an attempt to bring some Jewish religious services to the area if there is enough interest.

On the other hand, I can see how there is something somewhat gefilte fishy about the story. Rabbinical students from New York, they can't use a computer themselves for some reason? It's possible I guess; I'd give the story the benefit of the doubt.

I met them the other day at Starbucks. Seemed like nice guys.

They just wanted to make contact with other Jews to make themselves feel at home.

They asked if I knew of any Jewish people in town. I did not.

Don't we all gravitate towards others we feel a kinship too.

Don't know if they have a computer or even know of local Hua Hin forums to post at.

Totally harmless couple of guys. Say hello if you see them, 2 guys with yamaka caps in Hua Hin, not hard to spot.

Yes, they are Jewish religious people training to be religious leaders, a small minority within a minority. They don't have much to do without other Jews, because, you see, Jews do NOT pursue CONVERSIONS.

BTW, I hope they don't expect to find a good bagel in Thailand, this could be a rough trip for them ...

BTW, if you don't find any Jews in the area, they could pop over to Pattaya, we've even got a Kosher restaurant, it's like a Thai Miami Beach here (shameless exaggeration).
