Yes a bit lazy but...

Someone is offering me some EU performance parts for scooters. I'm just wondering if there are any different categories of parts and what the current duty is. Ie would there be any difference between a complete gear box say and if it all came in parts.

One is an exhaust so that has to come the way it is.

yep, they distinguish very well whether it is engine parts, clutch, exhaust etc. and even there you will find subcategories.
