givenall Posted September 19, 2010 Posted September 19, 2010 I just saw about 100 or so Red Shirt on the motorcycle going toward Central World again. What is wrong with the government? I thought gathering like this were banned in Bangkok
craigt3365 Posted September 19, 2010 Posted September 19, 2010 I'm watching it on TV. Just had a fight break out with some gal. The crowd looks fairly large. I agree. What happened to no political gatherings? What am I missing?
craigt3365 Posted September 19, 2010 Posted September 19, 2010 what channel is it on ? I've had to bounce around from one to the other as I have not seen one yet that has this as full time coverage. TNN and NBT had some shots and coverage. And one of the local stations had a few minute segment. Sorry.... A good source is Tulsit's tweets on The Nations' website....lots of pics there...
mausplan Posted September 19, 2010 Posted September 19, 2010 Craigt3365, thanks for the info, I have to go to Wittayu at 6.00pm for a function. I hope the Reds keep part of their promise ,they have already broken the no loudspeaker and no blocking the road part so its looking 50/50 that they will go home on time.
bkkjames Posted September 19, 2010 Posted September 19, 2010 On my soi some teenage boys are busy washing their bikes with klong water? Got their red shirts on. Thus far I am 50/50 if they are going to the red protest or the red war between man utd and the scouse.
piete121 Posted September 19, 2010 Posted September 19, 2010 Sweepstake in my office has the police repeating their 'actions' (or do I mean 'inaction'?) of last time at evens and the crowd actually leaving at 100-1. I got that Abhisit said he would meet Jatuporn on the hospital and they would have a winner take all muay thai match to see who was tougher!!! I think my choice is not beyond the realms of possibility - TIT after all ;-) Seriously though - either this will end well or it will end with more bullet holes in the buildings round here. Either way I don't think the Police deserve any respect as they seem only able to prove that they are unable to uphold the law.

I lost the respect for police long ago, before the Red shirt problem in May. They are part of gangs, and they really don’t care about anything other than filling up their pockets. What I want to see is the military to show themselves again, and sent these idiots back home to Chaing Mai where they come from
nocturn Posted September 19, 2010 Posted September 19, 2010 (edited) "100 or so Red Shirt on the motorcycle" certainly fodder for the strange things thread. I wonder how they managed to all get on at once? Edited September 19, 2010 by nocturn
