Swift Police Response to Liverpool Incident Signals Shift After Southport Tragedy
You do realise that the identity of minors arrested for crimes are protected under UK law? In the Children and Young Persons Act 1933 (Section 49), there is an automatic restriction on identifying minors involved in youth court proceedings. In adult courts, the media can apply to name a minor, but judges often impose reporting restrictions under Section 45 of the Youth Justice and Criminal Evidence Act 1999. They did eventually release his name just before his 18th birthday (when it would have automatically been released anyway) as a judge deemed it was in the public interest. That is called due process. If the driver of this car was 17 there would have been a similar lack of detail. If in both cases the suspects are adults then it is usually right to release details. No idea why I brought that up, no idea why I made that comparison, I don't know what came over me. -

What is the ‘TACO trade’ on Wall Street?
So several MAGA guys on this very forum have stated that they have med a killing since Trump once again defiled the WH. So I wanna ask; is this the principle you follow when deciding when to buy and sell? There’s a new trade on Wall Street: the TACO trade, standing for “Trump Always Chickens Out.” https://thehill.com/homenews/administration/5320263-trump-tariff-trades-markets-rise/ "“The TACO trade engages once again,” stated the headline on Monday’s episode of the “Saxo Market Call” podcast, as markets around the world reacted favorably to the EU pause. “It’s a new week and we have the latest example of what an FT columnist has called the TACO trade engaging once again: Trump Always Chickens Out,” the podcast description reads. “In this case, it was Trump’s announcement late yesterday to delay the threat to slap 50% tariffs on the EU already to July 9 rather than June 1 (which he threatened on Friday).”"
