November 9, 201015 yr just tried to call someone with skype, had no sound. Looked at the small speaker icon on top right. There is non anymore. No speaker icon, no sound. I didn't install anything, I didn't change anything. I reboot the computer but still sound is gone. Anyone has an idea, why this could be and how I can get it back?
November 10, 201015 yr Author problem is solved.... And how did you do it? ubuntu-bug audio this than tells that it is muted amd you can start a mixer somehow. than unmute everything. But problem: After every restart it is muted and need to be unmute over the Terminal Microphone does not work at all anymore. I think it is somehow time to have a look at Win7. Ubuntu really makes too many troubles.
