A group of us are heading over to Thailand (mainly to visit Chaing Mai) for two weeks in November/December.

We had originally planned 5 days in Vietnam. However, one of my buddies seems to remember reading an article advising that EXTREMELY good deals can be had because establishments are attempting to entice people to come back to Phuket.

So, does anybody know of such deals?
