Donald Trump: Will He Run For President ?

Looking for nits to pick?

A "loony conspiracy" theory would be claiming with certainty that he was born overseas. Speculating as to why he has - until now - refused to provide the long form of his birth certificate is simply curiosity.

Interesting to note that you tend to reference any such conspiracy theory regarding just about every topical matter. Is there a reason for such broad and twisted sarcasm?

Thats a bit oxymoronic.....claimimg theories with certainty. Theories put forward by some members here are just that: Theories. You tend to label all those theories as loony.

The difference between you and me is that you call theories loony without any evidence that the theory is wrong....I have brought up the fallacy in your theory only once proof is available.

In your case there certainly is and Harcourt is not far behind - just go back and review the old posts.

So you admit that you post "with broad and twisted sarcasm"....Posting in such a way is inflamatory. Never mind...I don't press the report button like you guys...I can handle simple banter.

I would love to have you quote me where I have presented a conspiracy theory "with certainty". In so doing, you will also have to show that it is actually a fallacy.

So you admit that you post "with broad and twisted sarcasm".

Where? Why do you insist on putting words in other posters mouths? rolleyes.gif

Where? In your post (which I properly quoted in it's entirety) where you reply that there certainly is reason to post "with broad and twisted sarcasm". Geez....read the thread. Use some powers of reading comprehension.

"Putting words in other posters mouths"? Why do you insist on trying to present other posters with your spinfull deceits?

This thread is starting to get a little too personal.

Let's stay on the content of the post and off the personality of the poster.

Now, back to the topic.

Trumps wish has come true. The Birth Certificate has been issued and as I suspect, it has raised more questions than it answers. UG, his religion isn't on it.

Now, the birthers are saying he may have dual citizenship because his father was Kenyan. And another right wing commentator is saying he might have been adopted by his Indonesian step-father. And neither of these were what the Founding Fathers intended.

I don't know how they know what the Founding Fathers intended or were

thinking about.

Someone else was questioning the timing of the release. Why now? So, our good friend the Trump has stirred up a real hornets nest.

The topic in the news section is here:

Maybe, but these are the real lunatic fringe - like the nuts who claim the CIA was behind 9/11 or that Bush knew about it in advance. As far as most people are concerned, this is the end of it now that he has finally provided the actual birth certificate.

By the way all the "lying" FOX commentators have been saying that this was a bogus issue all along. wink.gif

Do US birth certificates have the child's religion on them?

The US needs a governing party and president who WILL get rid of this sort of thing.

If D.T. can put up a logical suggestion / plan, he would reap many votes froom all parties.

I was speaking to an emergency room physician this morning. He told me that a woman in her mid-20s came to the ER with her 8th pregnancy.

Q: Does Illinois pay a grandmother $1,500 per month per child to be the foster parent to her eight grandchildren?

A: No. State officials have no record of such a case, and state law would not allow it. This second-hand story spread by a Danville urologist isn’t true.

Which religion does know membership by birth? Most of them require some ceremonies, rites and creeds before one can become a member of the community.

Surprisingly, I agree with your last sentence..."reality is that neither in our nor in our childrens life time this country will change to what we westerners consider a "civilised" country."

So what are we (Americans, Europeans, Australians) doing there?

I too doubt that change is more than a thin veneer we are putting on an old society, to be ripped off within five years of the allies leaving Afghanistan, so why are we there?

Why are the neo-imperialistic forces there? Why are they anywhere? And....why have they occupied any world locale? Like any imperialist.colonialist mindset - old school or new school - the inferior cultures need to watched over and taught how to conduct themselves in a Western standardized manner. White Man Burden, you know.:whistling::rolleyes:

Sorry, that is a complete non-answer.

It is not for imperialistic reasons - none of the countries participating wish to add this bag of shit to an empire.

No one in their right mind believes that a few years of training up an army and police force will change the rest of their society - and as I said before - within five years they'll be back where they want to be, Taliban or war-lord leaders, subjugated females hidden away and praising Allah for the blessings he has bestowed upon them.

Simple answer - Islam.

If your father is a Muslim, you are a Muslim.

If you later convert to another religion (apostasy) then the Q'ran urges any true Muslim to kill you. Doesn't need a fatwa (religious verdict or instruction) as it is clearly set out in the Q'ran.

US Birth Certificates do not have the religion on them.

....nor should they. <deleted>, the newborn doesn't even have a chance to breath and absorb their new world, less being automatically cleansed by imaginary cults and political identities. Suppose we had a generation that refuse to be harnessed by make-believe character.....

Suppose we had a generation that refuse to be harnessed by make-believe character.....

From what I have seen of the beliefs and actions of the loathsome left, things would not be much better - maybe even worse. bah.gif

One and the same, regardless of political or spiritual affiliation. Per usual, we're trained to view that there is a difference.

Why? Most certainly because such crap was repeated often enough to be mesmerizing and true. Many can be bought and sold as long as the sell professes to promote a higher celebration of their own culture.

A child of Muslim parents, when born, will have the 'Adhaan' (call to prayer) whispered in his (or her) right ear after birthing. This was a ritual initiated by the Prophet and followed by all observant Muslims. This is supposed to set the child on the path of righteousness (i.e. the way of Islam). Thus every child born of muslims becomes a muslim at birth.

With regard to apostasy, the following is a brief summary of a part of Sharia law.

Crimes in Islam

Crimes under Islamic Law can be broken down into three major categories. The three major crime categories in Islamic Law are:

1. Hadd [plural Hudud] Crimes (most serious).

2. Tazir Crimes (least serious).

3. Qisas Crimes (revenge crimes restitution).

Hadd crimes are the most serious under Islamic Law, and Tazir crimes are the least serious. Some Western writers use the felony analogy for Hadd crimes and misdemeanor label for Tazir crimes. The analogy is partially accurate, but not entirely true. Common Law has no comparable form of Qisas crimes.

Hadd Crimes

Hadd crimes are those which are punishable by a pre-established punishment found in the Qur’an. These most serious of all crimes are found by an exact reference in the Qur’an to a specific act and a specific punishment for that act. There is no plea-bargaining or reducing the punishment for a Hadd crime. Hadd crimes have no minimum or maximum punishments attached to them. The punishment system is comparable to the determinate sentence imposed by some judges in the United States. If you commit a crime, you know what your punishment will be. There is no flexibility in the U.S. determinate model or in the punishment for Hadd crimes of Islamic Law.

No judge can change or reduce the punishment for these serious crimes.

The Hadd crimes are:

1. Murder;

2. Making war against Islam

3. Robbery

4. Theft

5. Adultery

6. Defamation

7. False accusation of adultery or fornication

8. Apostasy from Islam

9. Alcohol-drinking [any intoxicants]

There are fixed punishments - from whipping, through chopping off hands and/or feet to stoning, beheading and other forms of terminally hurting someone.

Apostasy is a death crime.

http://english.islam...x?articleId=654

No judge can change or reduce the punishment for these serious crimes.

The Hadd crimes are: 1. Murder, 7. fornication

a judge can't, the next of kin of a murdered person can do it by accepting "diya" (compensation aka "blood money") of an amount which is fixed by the judge involved. et voilà... no hadd, no punishment, the murderer is free, might be seen at Soi Cowboy a week later sipping a single malt whilst contemplating which lady to barfine and fornicate with.

The less side shows the better IMHO

These times are not for dicking around. The next president will have to make serious changes.

Whether or not he is actually allowed to remains to be seen. But it would be nice to see one at least try.

Given what we have had these last few decades...(or longer ) & where it has brought us...I only hope the majority of

US citizens can & will think for themselves when considering their next choice.

as for the trump making the run it is a mute point, as he is out of the race but in the early 90's i was involved with small personal loans, amounts of 10k and less. I had more than 1 case come across my desk where the family income was 5,000 dollars per month and there was no one in the house with a "real" job; all sources of income were from the state and feds. :o

I don't mean to freak you out Mr. flying, but I am seriously leaning toward Ron Paul this time around. Serious changes do need to be made all around and the country is catching up to his views. But who would be his VP?

Don't let your righty friends read that. But good on you for starting to see reason. That is a sensible flip-flop, so I won't quote your past derision of Flying's Ron Paul posts.

Flying, you should be proud of yourself for persisting in posting Ron Paul's quotes.....it's working ;)

No problem & not so many years ago I had never heard of Ron Paul myself.

But since then I have followed him & read some of his books & come away thinking he may be one of the few honest ones left.

Your right too that the country is catching up to his views
