What's that supposed to mean? Did my reply somehow offend you?

It's all rather Biblical.

so it never happened? ;)

Let's be careful in our remarks about other posters, even in jest.

The story on these dead sardines are that they were driven in to the small boat harbour by very strong overnight winds, and in the sheltered area the incredible numbers of the fish quickly depleted all the oxygen in the water killing them.

Sardines school in unbelievable numbers.

They are going to recycle them as fertilizer.

No - it's the Daily Mail doing what it does best - making its readers angry or fearful (or hopefully both) by conflating facts and opinion into bugaboo stories.

As an aside Gadaffi has so far blamed foreigners, AIDS, drugs, Jews and Al-Qaeda for his country's problems. If he ever gets kicked out of Libya there's always a job waiting for him as a columnist at the Daily Mail.

If the Daily Mail gig doesn't work out, he could always become a speech writer for Obama.

ANCHOVIES WASH ASHORE IN MEXICO!

Posted on Monday, March 14th, 2011

ACAPULCO, Mexico – Millions of anchovies are washing ashore in Mexico!

Masses of anchovies – with bunches of stripped bass and mackerel – washed ashore in this Mexican resort city. They were packed so tightly near the surface they looked like an oil slick from above.
