Long Term Motorbike Parking At Chiang Rai Airport?

Featured Replies

Does anyone know whether or not it is permissible to leave one's motorbike parked at the Chiang Rai airport for an extended period of time......8 days?

I left mine there for two weeks...no problem and it is free parking for motorbikes.

Thanks for the info. That makes getting too and from the airport for the trip next week, a whole lot simpler.

when you ask at the ticket desk on entering the airport, the lady(ies) will tell you to park anywhere but

actually what you need to do is drive past the entrance to the airport and on the right you will see a big pond on your right, park there with all the other bikes. you can leave it as long as you want.

Does anyone know if it's still free parking for motorcycles at the airport?

Is it undercover?

I want to park my Phantom there for 2 weeks in February.

thanks,

Rich

Not being a motorcyclist, I would have no idea if you can park for an extended time or not

But I do know that a certain ex member of Thaivisa once parked his motorcycle at the airport and when he came back it was blown up.

Reason: '' It looked suspicious''

So, I would really think twice before leaving it there. Maybe pay security to put it under cover and keep an eye on it.
