I recently had the pleasure of going on a bike tour with forum members from CBR250Thai.com to Hua Hin. It was the first real bike tour I had ever gone on and what a blast it was.

We met on Rama II in Bangkok and headed out. Rama II is nice and straight, so were able to cruise at 120-140 most of the time.

We then turned onto the scenic route towards Petchaburi. This route was a nice mix of long straights and beautiful twisties. The turns were a lot of fun, and I was really leaning into them.

We arrived in Petchaburi and checked into our resort. We then had a nice seafood lunch and headed off to Hua Hin. One of the group members works at the Dusit Thani, and managed to get us all free welcome massages. Drinks and snacks were also provided free of charge. The massage was much needed, and the staff at Dusit did a wonderful job. We then took in the sights of Hua Hin and headed back to our resort for much needed dinner and rest.

The next day went to a beautiful cave temple near our resort. There were monkeys everywhere. We actually had to pay a local kid with a slingshot to keep the monkeys off our bikes, as there were not enough stuffed crocodiles. One of those, only in Thailand moments for sure. After exploring the amazingly beautiful cave temple, we headed back to our resort for check out and lunch before heading back to Bangkok.

Coming back we ran into quite a bit of rain. I actually was hoping for a bit of rain as I wanted to test my new Perellis. They handled perfectly and provided excelent grip. I felt much more confident than I usually do when riding in the rain.

We reached Rama II and all met at a PTT station, and headed home. Everybody made it back safely with no accidents.

The people on the trip came from all walks of life, but we all shared a common bond. Our love for motorcycles.

If I had one to spare, I would gladly lend you one. It would be best to go on a CBR, but I'm sure they would be willing to make exceptions. There were a few Kawasakis on the last trip. Perhaps you could rent something for the day.

Looks like you guys get to have the most fun... Enjoy riding and have fun- that is all one can wish for...

Should be a blast, but not sure I can make it...

We are actually going to Nakorn Nayok on Tuesday the 17th. We are going to do some white water rafting when we get there. Although, the paint ball on Saturday looks like it is going to be fun. So, instead of a motorcycle gang war, the Kawa and Honda riders are going to go at it with paint ball guns? Maybe they could have a dance off the next time!
