I think there is another misunderstanding. I have never run into an 'occasional' rapist. These are people who have a deep seated emotional need (not sexual) that is met by rape. The behavior escalates with time, it doesn't diminish. Many, if not most, will eventually get caught. Unfortunately, they will have a long list of victims by that time.

Mate " date " rape is often a singular act. Agreed amongst the gang and youth culture it may happen on more than one occasion, but amongst such folk, the deep seated nature is almost a cultural thing ala South African Townships and the like. It is not necessarily the " sick" individual. For the sake of society, I wish it was.......
