What a terrible thing. Monsterous.

I'm not sure how to put this, and I hope I can keep my anger in check.

Everybody likes to point the finger at Thailand. I was wondering if this ever happens there. I know it happens in other countries.

how right you are , well said .........I feel so sad that this has happen to a beautiful young girl , I am so angry now also. My heart goes out to all families .

Its now almost two years since little Bung disappeared, police are still baffles by her disappearance. The suspect who committed suicide has been cleared by police, he was at work at the time. Police haven't given up. See today's Melbourne Age

Never give up hope. The incident in the USA shows this and the police haven't given up. I can only imagine what the parents going though.

Police have confirmed they are searching a creek in Melbourne regarding the disappearance of Victorian girl Siriyakorn ‘Bung’ Siriboon.

Taskforce Puma are at the Old Joes Creek Retarding Basin in Boronia. They are also searching another location in Boronia.

Both locations are near Bung's home and school.

Bung has been missing sine 2nd June 2011. She left her home in Elsie Street, Boronia around 8.30am that morning.

She was seen by a neighbour a short time later in Elsie Street, walking towards Albert Avenue.

Bung did not arrive at school that day and has not been seen or heard from since.

This search is one of a number of searches that have been conducted since the taskforce into her disappearance was formed in October 2011.

Due to the size of the area, it's believed the search will take a number of days.

Bung is described as being of Thai origin, approximately 154cm tall, thin build with long dark hair and brown eyes.

this world is full of sicko,

people hide your children

Having worked in the area and access to the local sex offenders register can assure you there is a decent concentration of pedophiles who have been resettled and live in the area.

I check often, but there are never any updates. So sad.

Victoria Police are going to hold a media conference at 1 p.m AEST today 13 Aug 2013.

It is being reported that forensic police have been bagging items at the scene of Old Jones Creek.

Something about this doesnt quite add up either:

http://www.couriermail.com.au/news/queensland/human-remains-believed-to-be-of-a-girl-14-found-after-house-fire-near-nsw-and-queensland-border/story-fnihsrf2-1226695180086

The cops earlier believed she was 'safe', then they find burnt 'remains' ? Let's hope the crack team Vic Police have looking for Bung is a little more capable than the Keystone Cops who ran that investigation.

Creek search shows new development in schoolgirl Siriyakorn 'Bung' Siriboon disappearance, writes Charlie Bezzina

Can't find anything on the Victorian Media conference

Bloody top man Charlie and had the pleasure of working with him. He is a great loss to Vicpol and was definitely the most knowledgeable detective at the homicide squad with 30 yrs experience. He would still be there if it wasn't for former chief Comm Christine Nixon who guttered the squad. The guy doesn't speak <deleted> or talk in riddles, he is straight up so you can take what he says as fact.

I think there is a stat that says the chances deteriorate markedly after the first 48 hours - I dont hold out any hope for Bung's parents, but its sad whenever they put the mother in front of the media. One way or another, I hope they catch the scum who did it.

I found her house on google street maps.. It was before she went missing and you can see a Thai woman sitting outside with her face obscured. Quite eery.

Police have twice arrested the same man over the disappearance of Victorian schoolgirl Siriyakorn "Bung" Siriboon.

The guy originally gave himself up to police a couple of months back confessing to killing Bung. The problem is that police haven't found any evidence to support his confession, ie no body located where he said he disposed of her.

I hope he isn't just some nut job.

The guy pictured is not the one in question re Bung. A separate story involving a double murder.

Unfortunately I think the guy confessing is a nut case, nothing he says can be backed up by a police investigation and this only opens wounds for the family.

Geez. This is shocking that someone can just disappear.

Although not similar it does bring back memories of a friend that was murdered by a nutcase back in the early 90s in Bendigo.

I hope the family will get some closure to this soon.
