It reminded me of a music hall ventriquist that used to be around in the 50's, Albert Saveen. He used to have several characters of which Daisy May was one of the most well known.

The only You Tube clip I can find though is rather short piece.

Does anyone else remember him ?

Oh I don't know, I think Earl Thaddeus has a certain ring to it.

I think that bed was especially designed for a dachshund...the sausage dog.

I don't know about you. But when i was a kid in Europe. We bought funny postcards to send. And one of them was a "sausage" dog in a bun with mustard and ketchup.

I presume those have been taken off the market. But as Switzerland is such a backward country i may just find one hidden in some shop somewhere.

Off on a quest - in 35 degree heat.
