I thought that too. I'm on WiFi at home and almost everywhere else. I just wanted cellular data for the odd occasion when I'm not. I have True pre-paid on my main mobile and AIS pre-paid on my backup phone. I've subscribed to the 1Mbps unlimited data add-on packages at 1,800 baht per annum for both. Admittedly, the speeds vary, considerably. Just done a test now and I'm getting 101Mbps downstream and 5.15Mbps upstream. Most times it is around 50Mbps down and 25Mbps up. Approximately the same for both providers.- 1

If that is the case a lot of guys would need the option to select, "upkeep of ex-bar girlfriend, her family, and the sick buffalo". There would have to be an option also to let your name be shown on the bank statement of the girlfriend as she might be confused as to which of the many Farang boyfriends has sent the money. 🤣 No, I am not being vindictive, I have never done that but I know many who have. 🤪 -

That's a perfect example of why Wikipedia should not be taken seriously in some cases. Whoever wrote that page seems to think Surin is the only Thai province Northern Khmer is spoken in. -

They are not directing anybody to do anything. If none of the remaining reasons for transfer applies then there is "other". If that gets the receiver the wished for tagging as a foreign transfer is a totally separate issue. -

Exactly. No coercion involved. It's a choice and the rules are as clear as day. I believe the payment is to use the services. Not for perverts. A very small minority have been found to have broken the law. They've been subsequently sacked and dome charged with offences. There are undesirables everywhere. Were Harrods shoppers paying for a pervert? Are all those living in Thailand with kids at school paying for perverts? Is anyone putting money on a collection plate in a Catholic church paying for perverts? The millions that give alms and attend temples, are they paying for perverts? No, they are not. They are paying for something they want, belive in or want to support. Sadly, a small minority tarnish such things.
