Fear-graphic Card

Featured Replies

Just installed Fear and with my Asus card (Nividia FX5200) it is even if I set everything to minimum more a slide show than a game.

What is these days the price of a card which allows to play that game?

Yep FEAR is the most demanding game of the year for sure.

But at max detail it looks simply amazing and blows last years Doom 3 and Half Life 2 away completely.

Half Life 2 worked on my Oldtimer without problems, but the best I could do on Fear is 11 pics per secound but normaly just half of that.

So it is comparable to my grandparents holiday picture slideshow...

hi'

a gforce 6600 gt or not would do, for better take a 6800gt or an ati of you like ...

the gforce 5200, 5500 are ok for desktop work or video watching, but are a bit slow on games ...

are you on AGP8x as I think?

look at MSI, they still have good AGP GFORCE 6600 GT at reasonable prices :D

other way jump for the BIG upgrade, MB cpu ram and a fast PCI express ....

a bit more expensive tough :o
