Leaving The Country..Can I Get Back In?

Featured Replies

Hi,

I originally came to Thailand on a 60 day triple entry visa in November of 2010. I extended two of those entries and then got a new 60 day single entry visa which expires August 17. I am headed home on Sep 1, and was planning to get a 30 day extension on my current visa for the rest of my time here. However, I have decided that I would like to visit Cambodia and Vietnam before I leave this side of the world, but I have been told that if I leave the country the remaining time on my current visa will expire. My question is, will I be able to get back in? I was planning on traveling all the way to Hanoi where I will catch a flight back to Bangkok. Would I be able to get another 30 day stamp if I do that? If not, are there other options?

Thanks for any help, I'm planning to leave on Sunday and hoping to get some kind of understanding before then.

As you did not provide nationality can only say if you are eligible for 30 day visa exempt entry you will receive 30 days with a flight arrival.

As said, your nationality is the determening factor in if you can return without a visa and how many days you can get.

you will get a 30 day stamp if fly in from Vietnam, I think even Kamen could have told you that :P it's a US Passport
