Hello all. My boyfirned and I are planning to travel to Chiang Mai in early February but are having a hard time deciding on a hotel - thought some local knowledge could help us decide! Anyway, have sort of narrowed it down to the Chiang Mai Plaza (possibly as part of a package deal), the Tamarind Village (appealed as it seems a bit different) and the Raming Lodge - looks good and seems very cheap. Any feedback, good and bad on these places would be much appreciated!

Also, how is the weather in February - seems to be a whole range of opinions on how hot or cold it gets! Will be escaping the hot Perth summer so anything will be a relief I think
