How is the rain going down there in PTY

My mate came back last week to tell me it had been rather cloudy and wet.

Dropping in next week with family be good to know if I need to bring a rain mac or has it got better

Well 10 minutes ago MONSOON!

Now stopped raining and moping up is underway.

Has the heavy rain come later this year? I was trying to remember what the weather was like last year in Patters. I don't recall it being this wet.

The wet season lasts for about 6 weeks roughly from mid september untill the end of october. So another week or 2 should see the end of it. Its usually only an hour of solid rain each day around 3.00 pm. In previous years you could just about set your watch by it but this year it has been a bit irregular.

Monsoon is an understatement.............had a h.e.l.l. of a carry on getting back up Soi Khao Noi not just flooded but a raging torrent of water from Sukhumvit right up to Chokchai Garden Homes..........surprised the bike made it through it.

Perfectly normal for the time of year...will stop by the end of first week in November...then cool season for a couple of months....
