Fast internet connection and Thailand do not match, i.e. one has to accept the way it is here. I have tried TOT and I am now with 3BB and neither of them are really any good unless you buy the 2,500 baht per month package with 3BB. For a 9Mb / 1 Mb package with 3BB I pay 950 baht per month but the problem is that there are too many users so sometime, especially during weekends, there is no or very poor connection.

If you have a CAT line in your area and get a connection to CAT that is by far your best option with the fastest and most "dependable" service. TOT is worthless (about 1/10 of what they promise) and I haven't heard much better about the others. I live 6km out of town on Soi 88 also and we were lucky enough to have cat.

Hello.

At the moment where I am staying (Soi 41) there have a 20 Mbps CAT line into the apartments....they have limited it to 2 Mbps per room however. The service seems pretty good, but yes it's quite slow at some times of the day and some websites (such as Air Asia) don't seem to work.

It also looks like various websites are blocked, you can probably guess what sort. :-)

Cheers.

Get the CAT Premium service. More than double the price of Basic service but its better as you don't share with large group. Suppose to be smaller group. My only problem with CAT is not the speed as that is great when its working (most of the time) but rather the WiFi router. TV on Dream Box is working via wire off router but I have intermittent outages with my wireless connection to my computer. Can't figure out where the problem lies.

I heard good things about 3BB here but mixed reports from other people. But almost universally, TOT seems to be panned....I was going to go to the 3BB office near market village soon anyway and ask them about their prices as I want to change my ISP.

The internet service with 3BB is ok, but the service from the office employees has been a nightmare every time I've needed to go there.
