Baby'S Got New Shoes

Featured Replies

Wanted to do a facelift on my 15 year old Cefiro so I bought some new wheels for her. Being they were 17 inch wheels and the old wheels were 15 inch I had to buy some new tires. Checked a few out and decided to buy the new Yokohama Advan dB tires. I have had MANY cars with MANY brands of tires and hands down these are the best riding tires I have ever ridden on. Besides being quite they soak up the bumps better than any low profile tire I have had (they are P215x50x17). If you are thinking of buying new shoes for your baby check these out. Here is a review on them. http://www.sgcarmart.com/news/events_features.php?AID=2359

Here is a pix of my baby with her new shoes.

How much did you pay for the tires?

I paid one price for the wheels and tires plus I got a trade in on my old rims but I think it worked out at about 5000 baht per tire.

Its still a nice looking ride, how many km is on it and is it still running trouble free. Sorry off topic B)

Advan DB is very good, class leading at the moment for comfort and performance. They're all made in japan, so they're a bit more pricey due to the import duties, but worth it.

103,000km, runs strong, doesn't leak or burn any oil.

I wonder how many readers think like me. What a sensible choice you made. A credit to you.!!

noticed you have fake plastic Brembos. sweet.

Yea, the stock calibers didn't look that great and I wasn't about to install real Brembo brakes on my 15 year old daily driver and the covers were only a 1000 baht for 4 so I installed them. They do make for a better look and probably 99% of the people don't know they are covers and probably 95% of the people don't know what a Brembo is.

You still havethat Cefiro? Nice to see that you take care of. In my opinion, the Cefiros are the best cars for that value, nice 6 cylinder cars, smooth and luxury ride, like noting else in that pricerange. I always lovethem. Still have one as well.

Yep still got it. I think i bought it from you about 5 years ago. The quad pipes rusted out so I put these duals on as replacements.
