Best Twisties Near Bangkok

So I'm looking to find some twisties within an hour or so (150km) from Bangkok. Anybody got any ideas? I am looking to do a Chiang Mai trip in the near future but would like something to kinda hold me over until then. Just got back from Khon Kaen ride last weekend but didn't really get to explore the back roads.

Khao Yai is the only option i can think of.

CNX is only 8 hours away, if you leave early it goes by really quick, even at only 130-140kph.

I'm sure Tony will pipe in with some good routes to go on around Bangkok. As KRS1 suggests, if you can get your butt up to Northern Thailand: Chinag Mai & Chiang Rai, you'll never want to go back

Ratchaburi has some nice roads, especially along the border area. Some nice twisty back roads around kanchanburi too, about 120km away. Leave at 6.30, have breakfast in Kan before 8. Then set off exploring.

That is next on my trip list. Just would like to have more than a weekend to ride around there, so for now its day trips or the 2 day weekend ride. Thinking maybe Dec-Jan for the North. Would really like to do the Mae Hong Son loop. I heard it's amazing.
