Secondhand Car Districts

Featured Replies

I know of the area around THE MALL, but its a little inaccessible for me to be honest, does anyone know of another concentration of dealers that I could browse on foot for a seconhand car. Perhaps that could be reached by MRT/BTS. Online is too difficult sometimes you just wanna browse. Thanks

Not sure exactly where you mean by THE MALL (as there are a number of 'THE MALL's in Bangkok (i.e. Bangkapi, Ngamwongwan etc)...

Anyway, lots of 2nd hand car tents around...

Ratchadapisek Rd has a lot of 2nd hand car tents along its length from the Thai Cultural centre all the way up to Ratchiyothin... Accessible by MRT.

Srinakarin has a lot of 2nd hand car tents in a concentrated area (accessible only by taxi if you are not driving yourself).

RamaIntra - Ekammai Rd (the area where Lad-Prao rd crosses the At-Narong- RamIntra express way) also has a lot of 2nd hand car tents in a concentrated area (accessible only by taxi if you are not driving yourself).

Rama 9 Rd (The area between Ratchadaphisek and Ekammai rd - on the north side of the rd - 3-4 tents more sparsely populated)

Thaim Ruam Mit Rd (close to Thailand Cultural centre on Ratchadapisek rd has a couple of large car tents).

Without a doubt, this is the best location in Bangkok for finding a second-hand car. There is a huge collection of "tents" along the road. I bought a 1996 Honda City there, with 122,000 km. and it's still going strong.

You bought from a Tent and it's' still going strong 'i didn't think your allowed to post those inflammatory remarks here  .

Not near MRT/BTS, but if you went to the New South Bus Station, just passed it turn left, starts on the corner, Tents tents and more tents, if you looked at them all you would be very fit ? or warn out ? from this corner to The Mall just over 7 km, then cross over and do the 7 km back on the other side, many are up to 10 tents deep, some are showrooms, good range for 39k to 20+ million + every make

you just wanna browse then you would need at least a week as there are 1,000's, when I was looking for another car went for 4 full days and that was driving.

Ended up buying from a tent in Ratchadapisek Rd ;)

I'd look at one2car.com, it's in Thai but easy to navigate..from there you can go to dealers websites too.

There's LOADS on Kanchanapisk from rama 2 to PinKlao junction.
