Swimming Pool For Daily Use/exercise

Recommended Posts

Hello !

I will stay in Phuket for few months soon and would like to swim at least 3 times a week.

Can anybody recommend a hotel pool or Spa pool or whatever which I can use for a monthly/ weekly fee?

Should be a "bigger" one where I can really exercise/swim a little...

And prefered in the Patong area

Thanks

Hello,

The last couple of times here I have used the communal pool at Baan Benjamaas at the end of Soi Sansabai, right in central Patong. I guess it's 20 - 25m long and ok for doing a few lengths.

Admittedly, it was off-season when I was here so not sure if it gets busy during this time of year. In any case, I think it was open from 10am - 7pm so I reckon it will still be possible to use for exercise at either end of this period, thus avoiding the sun-worshippers.

I think it was 70baht per visit (snacks, drinks, showers, towels available) and I also seem to remember it was possible to buy a monthly ticket, though I may be wrong this this.

Wet Willys HideAway off Nanai Road has a 7.5M long pool. Maybe too small for you. But it's free for customers. Along with a jacuzzi, pool table, internet (PC and WiFi), bar and restaurant.

PM me and I'll send you a map.

Patong Resort charge 5,000 baht per year for non guests to use its facilities, they have 2 big size pools. In that price you can also use the Gym & Tennis courts.

Could be worth asking if they could do a monthly rate.
