The news here tonight is a lot of talk.

The talk includes all kinds of possible retribution.

Already talk of war

This "event" was talked about months ago in many places online.

Not the event of Iran doing something like what is being claimed/reported

But instead that in September 2011 a reason would appear for Israel to attack Iran & of course that would mean with the US consent.

I will not look for the links but if you Google I am sure you will see the articles posted a few months back. June/July if I remember right.

At this point given the hot water Eric Holder is in with his latest Fast & Furious arms deals

I would call this as black a flag as anything previously seen.

A legitimate reason to bomb Iran's nuclear bomb factories into the Stone Age.

I guess the Saudis won't have much trouble turning a blind eye when those Israeli jets use their airspace for the bombing raids on the Iranian nuke program.

A legitimate reason to bomb Iran's nuclear bomb factories into the Stone Age.

You said evil exists, UG. That would be a prime example of evil. One failed assassination, and you want to pulverise half a country!

I kind of doubt that Iran's nuclear bomb factories take up half the country. They are legitimate military targets.

Perhaps now you see why a false flag such as this was needed?

I like how some call things that may or may not exist a legitimate target....In a country they have no say in nor war with.

Yet these very same that make such claims have no problems with their own undeclared nuclear arsenals....Nor will they take part

in any Nuclear Non Proliferation Treaties...

But then again this thread is about Iran and the plot against a Saudi. It's not about Israel or posters, at least not unless you want the topic to continue to run.

The whole Iran plot idea seems like a non starter.

When one looks at the premise & the supposed Mexican drug cartel involved +

listens to the reactions out of Iran....it is just too convenient time wise.

Also although I know & agree the topic is Iran & Saudi one has to look at where the claim/accusations are coming

from & what are possible motives. Then the timing in general.....

Who are the Saudi's recently upset with over Libya?

Also look at the recent events with Eric Holder & the Mexican drug cartels with his botched Fast & Furious operation.

I am not buying it personally at all.

A terrorist attack sponsored by the government of Iran is an act of war and bombing military targets is a legitimate response. Taking out their nuclear bomb factories would also prevent them from using one in another future terrorist plot.

Hopefully your alone in such thinking.

Because if not there are a few targets that you would have to also call legitimate but not like it.

Because more than a few well known governments have been not only accused but proven to have had their hands

in covert operations that blew up in their faces.

Should their countries along with the unknowing sectors of government & civilians be then attacked?

By your reasoning it is legitimate to do so.

As Scott pointed out it is not supposed to be about Israel & the US yet

this old desire to bomb *alleged* nuclear plants always comes bubbling right to the top.

Like the foam out of a rabid dogs mouth.

So this is a reason to do what?

Using the tactics of JFK - hire mobsters to assassinate a representative of a foreign government.

The Sunni-Shia divide is enormous. In Bahrein, and in the oil-rich Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia, the basic population is Shia, the rulers, Sunni. Iran always supports it's co-religionists - the Shia.

Iran would also like the Saudi oil reserves.

This is not new - this is a political spat between two major powers in the area, who will never settle their differences, no matter who rules either country.

If I remember aright, the Wall Street Journal is another Murdoch newspaper, along with the Sun, the NoW and other scare-mongering rags.

A terrorist attack sponsored by the government of Iran is an act of war and bombing military targets is a legitimate response. Taking out their nuclear bomb factories would also prevent them from using one in another future terrorist plot.

Was it really a terrorist attack? Or just mostly hot air?

Bombing military targets a legitimate response to one failed assassination attempt?

What nuclear bomb factories? There's no more evidence than there was in Iraq.

What it is claimed to be is this....

An Iranian born U.S. citizen named Mansour Ababsiar

supposedly wanted to hire a Mexican drug cartel member to do a hit.

Pay was to be 1.5 million

So now this is somehow twisted...if true in the first place....as a reason to bomb a country

that the accused was born in. Yet he is a US CITIZEN

Any factual ties to the Iranian government are all just allegations.

At the end of the day it is a US Citizen as the customer & claims made by a Mexican Drug Cartel member who was to be hired.

Not even a good Hollywood script.

there... there... you have to take whatever <snip> writes, when it concerns Ayrabs, Eyeran or Muslims, with a grain two 25kg bags of salt.
