Just to bump this post if anyone is interested, Naerunchala fitness has under gone a major revamp over the last few months and has bought a lot more high quality weight machines and a new fitness studio and currently is fitting out a new free weights room, it's pretty much getting to the point of being comparable with the type of facilities one was getting at a Cal Wow type place....great to see they have invested money in the place.....I have been a member since the first day it opened and didn't realize they were doing extensions to the place and buying new kit until last week until one of trainers showed me...

^Yep, just to echo what Soutpeel states above. The Naraenchula place has had a complete makeover and now has some great machines and free weight facilities, comparable to some of the better gyms in Pattaya, imo.

I've been a member there now for over 3 years, and the cost of new memberships or daily gym usage (depending on your preference) will not increase, according to the manageress. Check it out.

Prices have not gone up...I just renewed my yearly membership and its still 15k/ year....dont know about the daily rate...I used the think 15k was little bit expensive for the old facilites, but in the absence of anything around the area, it had to do...

but now 15k is very good value for money considering what they have done there

It's just as expensive, if not more, than my gym membership in the UK but it is nice. There's a decent size pool for small laps, cycling, yoga and other classes, and an impressive collection of weight machines and other equipment.

250b/day

5,250b/3 months

15,360b/year

I'm still considering it... Perhaps try it for a day first.

A decently equipped gym in Thailand same as decently equipped gym in the UK...so why shouldnt the prices be similar providing you get the service and they look after the place, besides one suspects the cost of the imported equipment costs more in Thailand than the UK.
