Getting the electrical plan sorted on the house build and have been looking for junction boxes that are rugged and have an attractive cover plate. These will be bedded into the brick walls and will be used to fan out the wiring and other boxes will be used for speaker and security system wiring. The metal junction boxes would be the most rugged but the cover plates aren't very nice. Do the plastic ones hold up well enough in a bedded in installation? If you have photos of what you have seen or used, please post. I'd like to buy enough so that all 8 boxes look the same.

I have a metal distribution box with a perspex lid, not unsightly but to cover the surface cables as well, built a attractive wood cabinet around it, which blended into the understairs wood staircase.

Thanks for the link, and after I changed the word "distribution" to "junction", I can see a lot more ideas! I am okay on the Square D distribution consumer unit, but need a place to hide connections and to allow for future access. Good suggestion on Googling for images.
