December 20, 200520 yr Maybe I've missed it posted on TV, if not then this might interest a few people. The Misses rang the IOM clinic today to book an apointment to register for the TB test, it seems that there are lots of people wanting a settlement visa. Due to demand the earliest she could get an appointment is January 6. The clinic is involved only as far as doing the paperwork to register, collecting the money, and issueing the certificate, that must take up a lot of their time.
December 22, 200520 yr Its interesting that the wait has lengthened considerably since earlier this month. When my b/f wanted to apply for the new CP visa on December 6th he had to wait 1 day for this appointment. Now it seems its 2 weeks according to this poster. That is very sad for those eager to apply and having to wait so long just for a TB cert. Without it you can't even get the application under way Must have been an incredible rise in the number of people wanting to apply for visas over 6 months in the past 2 weeks . Wonder what the wait will be in another 2 weeks time ?? Silomfan
