Even a fellow party member Newt said that you cannot debate with someone who is willing to tell outright lies. Saying that, I doubt even he would try to get away with the rice pledging scheme though no doubt he would consider it. All these charges are false and the president knows it. Yet he has not disavowed any of these lies. The Romney campaign has never sunk to this level. Lies? They are both politicians. I'm sure they both told some lies or at least misled at one point. The thing is, in a live debate in front of nearly 100 million people worldwide, you have to be knowledgeable and quick thinking in order to respond to what your opponent says, and you need to be careful that any lie you tell will be picked up on by your opponent and thrown back at you. Romney did this with Obama's comment about businesses can claim a deduction for moving a plant overseas. He did it other times as well. But according to your picture, Romney told 27 lies yet the man standing next to him, arguably the most brilliant man ever to be President, the greatest orator of our time, was unable to respond to any of them. Why not?

Romney got the biggest bump from a debate in history. 150 milliion dollars of lying negative ads went down the toilet in 90 minutes and best of all, the American people can see what Romney is and what Obama isn't - a REAL leader.

I read this book last month. The debate has shown it to be very accurate.

Of course Romney is positioning himself on right. Don't act like this is your first Presidential election. That's how you get votes in the primaries - go after the base. In the general election, move toward the center to attract Independents. You talk about Romney's history, well, if you know anything about him you know the conservative right hasn't liked him because he has always been too far left. This recent re-positioning the past 6-9 months is to make the conservative voters believe that he really is a conservative and not a centrist at best, or closet liberal at worst. That is the plan to win the nomination. You criticizing Romney now for being far right is off target. Romney should be a Democrat's dream candidate for the Republicans. NOT because of his chances to win, but because he is most like them.

Romney was a successful governor of Massachusetts, a very liberal state with an overwhelmingly Democrat legislature. Say what you want about Romney Care, good or bad, but one thing is proves beyond a doubt is Romney's ability to work across the aisle with the opposition party. Why did Obama LIE about Romney's $5 trillion tax cut for the rich? These guys lie all the time. The BIG question is WHY wasn't Obama smart enough to catch Romney in the lie (if it even was one) during the debate while everyone was watching? Look, a politician can always change his plan, tweak it here and there, but he can't change his IQ and that spells trouble for Obama.

BTW, I love the new phrase, "low information voters". It was probably coined to describe the masses who voted for Obama the first time around... "Obama gonna pay my bills!!"
