Monitor Or Tv?

Hallo,

Looking to replace me monitor as, like me, it's small and old. Shopped around and found that a decent-sized monitor, Samsung 21-24", costs the same as a 32" LED LG TV. Around 10k.

The latter has a dual purpose and is great quality. Can Someone give me a reason why a smaller, dedicated monitor would be better?

This would only be for me bedroom, where the computer lives, as in me living room I've got something larger than my bedroom ever sees. 555

Seriously. What is the difference and, as a casual user, would i notice it?
