Exactly.... Artificial sweeteners like Aspartame are wickedly bad for your health, and vastly worse than sugar ever will be.... Now drink markers will be very tempted to sneak Aspartame into their formulas without announcing the change... I would be quite happy to pay more for a real sugar drink.... -

Then you do not understand the Chinese economy. Yes China debt is very high but the debt is differant fron the USA. China debt is mostly domestic, banks, local goverments property market and based on the Yuan(china mostly borrows in Yuan) and can be controlled by the goverment decisions are fast unlike usa who have trouble passing budgets. USA debt is dollar based and part of the global system, if yields spike, debt service costs go up, treasury demand drops the dollar slides. Need to look at what the debt is funding as well for both countries. USA debt is war, tax cuts for the rich, stock buybacks and social debt. China is infrastructure, industrial, R&D and property market -

Givi Monokey boxes don't fit
Last year I bought a Monokey rack and plate for my bike. Also bought a box. All imported from Motostorm, Italy. All fit perfectly. Recently I bought another Monokey box from Shopee/Lazada. It didnt fit. The Kawasaki mechanic couldn't make it fit either. It all looked like a genuine Givi Monokey box but as I measured the latch of the box was positioned 3 mm too deep to be able to reach the hole in the protrusion of the plate. I sent back and got money back. Now I ordered another box from Shopee/Lazada (i forgot which, the hotel does it for me). It has exactly the same problem. I can't press it onto my Monokey plate. Inbetween I have often used my old Monokey box that I imported from Italy wirhout problems. So it seems the Givi boxes I get from Shopee/Lazada don't fit. Next week I get another box and Monokey plate from Motostorm, Italy. They say no changes have been made and the box should fit my old plate and my old box will also fit the new plate. ... They say. I will try to update this thread when that stuff arrive. -

Bit tricky because you get the Medicare Levy Surcharge for years as a worker if no insurance so get private health insurance to avoid it. Then when you retire you may not get the surcharge - even if not eligible for age pension - but that's when you are likely to need private health insurance. There is also the life time health cover loading so if you say start private insurance at 60 after not having it you pay the going rate plus a loading of 60 per cent being 2 per cent per year over 30. There is a rebate for getting private health insurance that was bought in as an incentive but that is based on income and is being reduced bit by bit each year. Then there's the fact that it can still be better and less expensive to use public health care rather then private in some cases if there is no waiting list. But it is what it is. -
