Philips Infrared Headphones

Featured Replies

Model SHCI300

I saw these in Tesco, I know. . .

But they are Philips. Reviews on the intranet are mixed. Anyone haves these, as well as thoughts recommendations.

I am looking for preferably a wireless, non infrared set for use in my home/bedroom.

Primary use is movies, not music. . .

I am ok with the price if they are decent. However, finding a decent pair in Thailand is my biggest problem, as usually they never have units out to try as well. . .

Mine really are worth the money. Not sure if they are sold at all in Thailand though. Amazon do them but of course you then have the potential customs charges/hassle.

Got any friends coming from farangland?

Much to my surprise I saw my headphones in Central Festival today.

I paid 7,500B (equiv.) in the UK. In Central they were 15,000B.

I have the earlier models .. RS-130 & RS-120. Difficult for me to understand the dialog in the movies I watch. Wearing these wireless headphones was the answer for me. I use the `bedroom' set everynight for the movies & TV shows

I watch. Sennheiser of course ...

Bought a refurbished set from E-Bay and found a New-In-A-Box set in Pattaya - the old Carrefour store. The older models were will under 15,000B, closer to 7,500. Have used them for 3+ years and highly recommend them for TV/Movie use.
