Chevrolet Colorado And Ford Ranger - Shootout In The Bangkok Post

Featured Replies

Good auto review on Chevrolet Colorado and Ford Ranger, especially the description of driving behavior: <snip>

But still ask myself what kind of suspension setup is suited to Thailand's roads and traffic conditions... coffee1.gif

I own Chev Colorado Ltz auto 4x4 crew cab version...been driving for three months today. Only complain I have are seats should have provided more support and grip especially with leather seats surface and hard cornering. (not that I compared to my audi s4 back in Canada). Fuel economy is great 12-13 kpl on average driving Bkk Chiangmai (110-120 kph)

the only big difference is the ranger has a harder ride and thoe colorada has no auto trans both these things depend on what the buyer wants.

No Auto ?

Friend has a new Auto Chevy Colorado pickup, 1 month old now, it is in blue and look terrible, maybe its the colour, to me the Mazda is much nicer + the inside much better + drives very much better... Not driven the New Ranger yet.

Read this article and another test report and both commented on a soft/squidgy ride. Wonder what GM have done with the rear suspension?. Auto is available with the new 2.8L diesel engine.
