Happy New Year Everybody

I spent last night at The Riverside restaurant.

Absolutley HEAVING, but the staff coped admirably and were very attentive. They also gave out hats, whistles, party poppers, funny glasses and noses, everything to turn it into a real party.

But then at midnight on the other side of the river was the most fantastic firework display I or anybody in my party of 11 had EVER seen.

If there is ONE thing Thailand CAN get right it's firework displays, this was spectacular.

was anyone else there or lucky enough to catch the display from another viewpoint?

I was at the Goodview standing immediately under the display, and yes, it was the most spectacular I have ever seen. I was oooing and awing like a little kid .
