Thaksin is more than welcome to Pheu Thai Party

BANGKOK:-- Ex-PM Thaksin Shinawatra is more than welcome to apply for a membership of Pheu Thai Party, its spokesman Prompong Nopparit said Sunday.

Having Thaksin as a party member will definitely boost spirit of the party and people.

The spokesman said Thaksin would not have to come to apply by himself because the laws allow the party to send staffs to receive application outside the headquarters including in foreign countries.

After being toppled in a coup in 2006, Thaksin has lived in self-exile. He returned home for a short period but fled after being convicted of corruption and sentenced to two years in jail.

Hotel guests welcome hotel owner to come stay at his hotel.

.

I was thinking along almost exactly the same lines: As a hotel owner, do I really need to fill out a registration form to stay in a room at my own property?

Or to spin another idea: How come that a political party allows itself to be directed by a man living in a foreign country, who is not even officially a member of said political party? Oh, that's right, he's been "banned" from politics for five years (term expring end of May)... bizarre, bizarre, bizarre.

Maybe someone should read up on the applicable laws and ask Dept. PM Pol. Captain Chalerm to use his formidable knowledge to write a new one.

So soon we'll read "Pheu Thai party staff go to Dubai to accept the membership application of a criminal on the run".

Tells you how clueless the 'spokesman' is,

unless he imagines this is a successful subterfuge...

In which case he moves below clueless, straight to delusional.

how bizarre

You couldn't make this stuff up.w00t.gif

I have an idea, how about accepting the posthumous application of Juan Peron into the current Peronist party? That's the ticket.

Thaksin welcome into the Thaksinista party with his sister "clone" as PM. Such a paradox!

Hoping for Black Magic and Voodoo Rituals? Mr. T. never will spill his blood for the party and the people.

Jatuporn's fake blood is enough for the moment.

They're just washing the pillow cases, That's all.

The last person in bed was wearing a bit of perfume, and they don't want wifey to get a smell of the strange odour that might give away that somebody has been 'sitting' in recently! giggle.gif

Does anyone think before they speak in this party. I mean, seriously, at least run the speech by a few friends before speaking in public. This guy is thinking on an empty head.
