Roof Tiles - Restain

Somchai, the expensive paint contractor,

suggested the roof to be pressure washed,

prior to painting the house.

OK, so I thought...

and he spent a day doing it...

30% of the roof surface was done...

problem is it was not washed...

it was blasted.

90+% of the color is gone,

showing the underlying concrete.

The roof tiles are around 20+ years.

I need a recommendation for

a water-based stain, and a sealer.

Not acid based.

Not paint.

I'll try to post some pics soon.

Any help appreciated,

please... if you have brand names

or sources let me know.

To wash out the colour like that then the colour in the tiles were crap quality to start with...Somchai the expensive painter has done you a favour and technically done the right thing....but of course he cant be right cos he is Thai....Right ? and you are the all knowing farang

I was going to suggest to the all knowing farang to ask somchai the expensive painter as he does appear to actually know what he is doing...
