Sparkles
A little ray of sunshine last night when the Man U Under 21's won their 4th title in 5 years beating Spurs 3-2 at WHL. Watching the highlights, on the Man U web site, it looked cracker of a game and better behaviour than senior players in fact more attractive football to watch less diving ,wrestling .shirt pulling BS. Varela scored a screamer in the last couple of minutes. Mc nair ,Borthwick Jackson and Peirra had strong games apparently

carmine
The only player worth watching is young Rashford imo. The other ones you can keep. Oh really! Funny, i think many would agree with me that De Gea is currently the best keeper in the world. Mike Smalling vastly improved and with a younger and frankly better coach theres a lot of other talent lurking. All thats really wrong at United is mistakes appointing the last two coaches which will surely be rectified.

Not really. They are successful at u21s, we are successful at u18s and younger. We all know which academy ex-ManU players are currently putting their son's in, and it ain't ManU's! MrRed
Ex Man United players? Who? Not having a pop at anyone just showing that we can now possibly put out a side average age of about 20 that would compete in the premier league and has got a lot of talent for the coming years. Although it was not LVGs plan it has had its advantages after the injuries we have had this season.Always good to see young lads coming through and given game time. Mensah Rashford have really stood out just lately and CBJ McNair and Lingard have contributed very well this season...love to see Pereira given time. Scarily there is more! Bredbury Blue
^Ex Man United players? Who? Answer = Robin van Persie, Phil Neville, Darren Fletcher, Andy Cole...
Bredbury Blue
Your u21s: Cameron Borthwick-Jackson, Donald Love, Joe Riley, Marcus Rashford, Regan Poole, Timothy Fosu-Mensah and James Weir [7] have all been rewarded for their U21 form with debuts. Sean Goss, Axel Tuanzebe, Joel Pereira, Joe Rothwell and RoShaun Williams [7] also earned promotions to the senior squad. So Mr.Red if one of those 11 u21s is a goalie, then your comment would seem feasible ("now possibly put out a side average age of about 20 that would compete in the premier league and has got a lot of talent for the coming years."). MrRed
You obviously want an argument bertie? Joel Periera is a goalie btw..... The side above actually includes other young players we have bought and or brought through as well ..Lingard Martial..Memphis..Shaw Periara who you cleverly never mentioned! ONLY De Gea and Smalling are around 25 of the top of my head so with the other mostly under 20 on average it would be correct... now stop being bitter about everything and be happy that United players are using your admittedly very good acadamy before they fall by the wayside as your kids normally do cos they dont get any game time in abu dhabis obvious plans.

Very true, and a quick look at the youth cup winning team over the seasons shows very few will go on to play at premier level. You need your kids to come through for you (very few will) OR make you money on sale to another club.
