I just don't get it. Most of these women want houses, cars, and 20k+ a month allowances. How do the Thai guys on 6k do it? How do they manage to find women?

Its the same all over the world not just Thailand and not all women want that only the ones that are high maintenance. There are plenty Thai women who are happy with there Thai partners who earn however much they do likewise with Farang and Thai.

it is supply and demand. probably like 99% of these women marrying men who earn 6k would prefer a rich husband but there are not enough around and they do not know how to or have the effort to land one or are too prideful and shy to do so. however when i see what the thai women with rich husbands live like compared to those with poor thai husbands i can quite quickly figure out who made the right decision.

I don't think you got what he was saying. Young Thai men have yellow teeth, may be drug addicts, sometimes abusive and very often not faithful and alcoholics. Most women who find Farang men have a child to support from a Thai man who ran away. Not all Thai men of course but a significant number leave fatherless children. Yip I don't think you know much about Thailand. Also a lot of young Thai women end up with older fatter Thai men because they have land and or money.

From what I have observed the reason is: the baggage they bring with them.

Too many Thai guys aint interested in either the girls or their families.

Wouldnt say its a matter of choosing to stay single for many its a reality they have to deal with.

Where I live there are two girls with kids in tow, no Thai guy is interested in them or their worthless famlilies.

Both these girls stay in their mothers house while the mother goes to work.

I am a farang and ive been with plenty of thai women who havent had any kids or been raped or abused into prostitution by poverty or starvation

Many thai women have independant wealth thesedays from....................jobs (NOT BG;s)

Hmm, all these negative depictions of farangs; Let me offer an example from an actual case, albeit extreme;

Male: Age 29, underemployed as driver and handyman at a Patong hotel. Alcoholic, right down to the morning shakes.

Female: Age 28, working as a hostess at a large patong nightclub.

They have one child, male age 10 and they considered themselves a couple. The child was being raised by the female's family in Issan. Both come from impoverished backgrounds and have limited formal education.

Female had western "boyfriends". The male would sometimes work in the Paradise bar zone as a go-go boy. When the male was asked if he ever took customers, the reply was no. The female was the main income earner.

Patong is a place where the environment is really distorted. An extreme case as I wrote, but one that was an eye opener for me.
