Looking for a way to extend an 8mm shank tile drill-bit. Couldn't find anything in HomePro/HomeWorks. Has anyone seen these here or knows where they can be bought online in the US or UK ? Found nothing in Lowes or HomeDepot or screwfix for an 8mm shank.

They have bit extensions for hole saws that use a 1/4" drill bit as a pilot. 8mm is close to 5/16ths and 1/4" is only a 1/16" smaller. if you could get away with using a 1/4" tile bit that it would be fine.. if you need the 8mm then remove the allen hed set screw from the bit extender and with a 8mm regular bit (not the tile bit it will ruin it) drill out the bit extension so your 8mm will fit and re-install the set screw to hold your 8mm tile bit.
