Speaker Repair In Thailand

Featured Replies

I brought over with me a pair of Epicure speakers that I couldn't bear to leave behind. They were in storage for 9 months or more and now that I've been using them a bit, they are in desperate need of repairing the foam/rubber around the bass and midrange speakers.

Does anyone know of a place I could bring them to have these repaired? I live in Kaeng Krachan so Bangkok isn't out of the question, and Hua Hin is very handy as well. However, I will consider any place as long as I can get them fixed.

Thanks, in advance for any leads.

This is the land of speakers, forget yours. In Ubon we have a shop that has everything to for fill anyones needs. thumbsup.gif

There are guys in China Town BKK who can replace the rubber suspension on your speakers,

but after looking at the web site for Epicure I would be hesitant to trust them to anyone

except an expert.

You could end up with a damaged sound.

There is a web site listed in google for parts,

but it seems to be under construction.

This guy might be the answer, if you can get the speakers to him?

Thanks, Astral, for taking the time to help with my speaker issues. It appears that you know why I don't want to just toss these quality speakers away. I found another speaker repair web site called "Humanspeakers dot com" who sell quality kits to do the repairs. Another shop in Roseville, MN. called Midwest Speaker has kits. My son lives close to the Roseville business so I will ask him to see if he can purchase the kits and mail them to me. Another option I just found is that a friend of mine will be coming to Thailand in Feb. I might be better off having him bring the kits with him. Probably safer and faster than the mail service.

Again, thanks for taking the time to help.

PM me with the model number I'll check if we have the sizes in stock, until you get into the $10,000 + range of speakers most spares are pretty generic.
