I just recently bought a light tent to photograph objects to sell on ebay. Can someone give me some advice about lighting ?.I'm not interested in buying the lights that they were trying to sell me in the shop where I bought the tent.Bloody extortion prices.Somebody on the net suggested using simple desktop lamps. Is this possible ?

Cheers Vinny

Check out the spiral fluorescent lights, I think they come with that colour temperature.

Look for the White option, not Warm.

I can't check at the moment as I am not at home. Sorry

I got a cheap one off Ebay. recently. Maybe I wasn't using it right, but the lights it came with weren't really bright enough and it wasn't fit for purpose. I guess you get what you pay for.
