Aquarium Supplies And Fish In Eastern Thailand

There was a thread running a few years ago and it mentioned a shop in Ban Chang, the location was vague but I called intp Steves deli to get some supplies an Stewie put me onto the location of shop.

It's two streets back from "the strip" ( towards Patts) and just off sukhumvit.

I ended up buying a complete setup for around 6000 baht, large tank, stand, rock base, built in filter, fluro light and extra air pump, good value I think

They have some good plants available and water conditioners, so got some of that and at the moment just waiting for tank to cycle.

There didnt seem to be any test kits visible so will wing it.

I couldnt see any cichlids , or none that i recognised but they had pleckos in every tank, they must have hundreds and they are just cleaners lol.

The last pleckos I bought cost me $75 each in Aussie and these are 25 baht each, what a bonus.

I saw some barbs and a few other good fish but I really want to perservere and get some yellows and blues.
