I’m not really comprehending the down votes I like to read bio’s of English rock stars. The more obscure the better. The drummer for the cure had a great one. As did buster Bloodvessel. Chiang Mai is like the elephants graveyard of such books, particularly the lost bookstore. Every single two tone act wrote a book that didn’t sell and it seems to have ended up there. Gary‘s definitely has that as told to kind of writing style, but he seemed remarkably un bitter for someone who’s trajectory up and down was so fast. Without him, Joan Jett would not have had a career. That’s a pretty small potatoes boast, but his single US released album was pretty much filler-free. Had he managed to keep his demons in check, he would be at the level of say, Donna Summer’s, but for Glam. He could’ve toured solo and never had to join a package tour forever.
